And this year's American Idol is....

TAYLOR HICKS

Well, it's over again for another year...and the world has yet another American Idol.

On Wednesday nite 5/24/2006, American Idol had its season finale, it's thrilling conclusion, it's...well, you know...and Taylor Hicks was chosen as this year's winner.

Part of American Idol's success, aside from that funny acid tongue of Simon Cowell, is that it's A CINDERELLA STORY. Taking unknowns, giving them a shot at the big time...while the audience watches and participates in seeing one lucky person's dream come true.

Everyone loves a Cinderella Story ( and Cinderellas can be men or women...Rocky is a Cinderella Story...it doesn't matter. What matters is seeing someone with a spark but who the odds are against at first..., then they're given their big break and win!)

So what if you had wanted to know about who was more likely to be the Cinderella Story this year? What if you had wanted to know in advance who was most likely to actually pass muster with the likes of Simon and the audience?

Cinderella Transits occur in two ways...either when Chiron in the sky (Transiting Chiron) moves into position to create special positive alignments with Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, or Pluto in a person's natal chart...or when Transiting Venus, Jupiter, Neptune or Pluto make those same special positive alignments to Chiron in a person's natal chart.

Whenever we have a Cinderella Transit, people are 1000 times more likely to see us as being SPECIAL, AND DESERVING OF RECOGNITION. Whenever anyone has a CINDERELLA TRANSIT they are likely to be at their MOST CHARISMATIC. CINDERELLA TRANSITS ARE SO POWERFUL THAT EVEN SIMON COWELL WILL LIKE YOU WHEN YOU ARE HAVING ONE ( and we all know, Simon likes just about nobody). Now THAT'S a powerful transit!

Now, let's be honest. If we're thinking American Idol in terms of sheer sex appeal, well...let's put it this way. Katherine is a babe and Taylor is...uh, well, I don't think Brad Pitt is going to be up nights worrying.

WHENEVER SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPENS YOU HAVE TO KNOW THAT THE ANSWER IS IN THE STARS!

On Thursday nite, Chiron in Declination was at 11 degrees South, and moving 'north'...in other words moving from 11 degrees South toward 10 degrees South.

On the day that Taylor Hicks was born, Pluto in Declination was at 10.5 degrees North.

Pluto is the planet of COMPETITIVE ABILITY AND DRIVE, ELEVATED LEVELS OF TALENT, THE PLANET OF BIG BUSINESS, AND BIG COMPETITIVE FIELDS OF ALL KINDS. IT IS ALSO THE PLANET OF MAJOR BEGINNNINGS AND ENDINGS.

That means that on Thursday, Chiron in the Declinational sky was moving TOWARD being Contra-Parallel the position of Taylor's Pluto. That means that Taylor was having a CINDERELLA TRANSIT.

When someone has a CINDERELLA TRANSIT involving PLUTO, you're likely to be seen as SPECIAL IN TERMS OF HAVING ELEVATED LEVELS OF TALENT, BEING ABLE TO BE COMPETITIVE.

When you win American Idol, you're literally seen as being special and deserving of recognition in terms of possessing elevated levels of talent in a competition.

Or maybe more importantly for you, when YOU are most likely to be recognized. In fact, Chiron also symbolizes soul mates, marriage, committed relationships, and Cinderella Transits are also the times when you are most likely to meet and fall in love with a soul mate.

Both Pluto and Chiron are also FINANCIAL PLANETS, so a transit of Chiron to Pluto in one's chart, or a transit of Pluto to Chiron, is also a SUPER FINANCIAL TRANSIT.

Chiron is THE KEY TO CINDERELLA TRANSITS AND KNOWING YOUR CINDERELLA TIME!

But Taylor's Cinderella Transit wasn't the only sign in the stars that he could win. There was another sign as well.

Another key component to Magi Astrology is SYMMETRICAL PLANETARY GEOMETRY. Big words...but it really means something quite simple and elegant.

Whenever the planets in the sky arrange themselves into SYMMETRICAL PATTERNS it means that they are pointing to something important happening...and when the planets in the sky arrange themselves WITH YOUR CHART to create a symmetrical pattern, it means that SOMETHING IMPORTANT CAN BE HAPPENING FOR YOU.

If the symmetry is of a POSITIVE nature, then it is a sign of a SUPER BOOST...and if the symmetrical pattern is of a Difficult Nature, then it means that you're in for a time of greater and potentially more important stress and turbulence.

The most powerful and most helpful SYMMETRICAL PATTERN is called a GRAND TRINE. It is formed whenever 3 planets line up so as to create a great big, symmetrical, equilateral triangle. When you look at a chart, it will look like a great big pyramid. So 'Grand Trine' is just a fancy name for a PERFECTLY SYMMETRICAL GREAT BIG TRIANGLE.

A Grand Trine is SUPER POWERFUL AND SUPER POSITIVE AND HELPFUL...and on Thursday nite, the stars in the sky formed NOT ONE, BUT TWO GRAND TRINES WITH TAYLOR'S CHART.

Both of these Grand Trines involved Chiron, the planet of CINDERELLAS of all kinds...making them CINDERELLA GRAND TRINES...but the real key to their formation was the planet MERCURY.

MERCURY IS SYMBOLIC OF THE VOICE AND SINGING.

In fact, without Mercury moving in the sky, in just the right place, Taylor wouldn't have had that these two extra super BOOSTS.

That's because just less than two weeks ago, Chiron in the sky in longitude had gone RETROGRADE.

Up until then it had been moving in to line up with his Sun, giving him a SECOND Cinderella Transit ( and just out of reach of starting to give him A THIRD Cinderella Transit of Chiron to his Pluto in longitude as well).

But then Chiron STOPPED MOVING FORWARD IN THE SKY AND BEGAN TO BACK AWAY FROM TAYLOR'S SUN AND PLUTO.

Poor Taylor, right...then he was left with only one Cinderella Transit...awww.

Then something else happened.

That something was the astrological speedy gonzales, Mercury.

For the past two days, MERCURY IN THE SKY CAME IN TO HELP TO GIVE TAYLOR AN ULTRA BOOST by slotting in just perfectly to align with BOTH Chiron in the sky as well as Taylor's Sun and Pluto TO FORM TWO, PERFECTLY SYMMETRICAL TRIANGLES, IE GRAND TRINES. (Taylor was born with the Sun sitting right with Pluto in his chart).

If you break apart what each of these Grand Trines symbolize, you'll be struck by how dead on the money descriptive they are.

Mercury (Singing/the Voice), + Chiron ( Recognition, Charisma, Noteworthiness) + Sun ( Taylor himself)

Mercury ( Singing/the Voice) + Chiron ( Recognition, Charisma, Noteworthiness) + Pluto ( Elevated Levels of Talent, Competitive Ability).

What more perfect sign could the stars give as to who would win the competition ON THAT PARTICULAR NIGHT?

Katherine btw, wasn't having ANY Cinderella Transits by the time Wednesday May 25.

[Fans of Katherine...take heart. This says NOTHING about the level of Katherine's talent. All it means is that this wasn't 'her time', that it was Taylor's time. ]

On May 10th he'd made it to the top three!

On Wednesday May 17, American Idol became a real nail biter...you had Taylor, Katherine and Elliot. Remember Mr. Sour Puss Simon Callow? Well, he'd already gone on record as saying that Elliot was probably the best male singer to have appeared on American Idol, ever, when he sang If Your Really Love Me by Stevie Wonder on Feb 22.

But then....CRASH... on May 17 Elliot lost in a squeaker...he got 33.06% of the votes... Katharine and Taylor got 33.26% and 33.68%...so he lost by only .20 percent!

OUCH!

Point 2 percent...POINT 2!

What happened? Well, Elliot's story was more complex...he was having a Cinderella Transit...but he was also having unhelpful Chiron Transits. Just as really great Chiron Transits signal your CINDERELLA TIME, stressful transits from Chiron can indicate REVERSALS...

In fact, Elliot was having Chiron in the sky make a STRESSFUL AND TURBULENT ALIGNMENT TO HIS CHIRON. We have a name for this transit...we call it the TOPSY-TURVY TRANSIT...it's a sign that you can backslide in your career and have your world turned upside down in some way.

What made it even worse was that this alignment was happening at the same time that Jupiter in the sky, the very best planet, also made a bad alignment to Elliot's Chiron.

Jupiter is the planet of success...and it is so good in terms of its nature and what is symbolizes that usually even if it makes a stressful alignment it really brings no harm... but there is one exception, and that exception found Elliot in the middle of May. It's when Jupiter becomes a part of STRESSFUL AND TURBULENT SYMMETRICAL PLANETARY GEOMETRY...and then it can be a sign of SEVERE TURBULENCE...

The stars don't 'make' things happen...but they're REALLY GOOD at spelling out WHAT IS MOST LIKELY TO HAPPEN. For example, in this case, when you have a TURBULENT TRANSIT FROM CHIRON, it's a sign that for some unknown reason people are going to be less likely to side with you. When you're in a competition and you're depending on millions of nameless, faceless people to pick up the phone and dial in on your number, you need to have an edge...and a Turbulent Transit from Chiron is a sign that you probably won't have that edge...that 'Luck', that strange thing, probably isn't on your side.

In fact, SYMMETRICAL PLANETARY GEOMETRY ( meaning simply whenever the planets in the sky arrange themselves so as to form symmetrical shapes) is so powerful, whether it is the good kind or the bad kind, that usually it is the overiding factor...as it was for Elliot.

But that's the game on American Idol...someone is going to win, in this case Taylor..and that means that a lot of other people are going to have to 'lose' in a certain sense...but heck, if Simon thinks you've got it, let's face it....you don't NEED to win American Idol. Once Elliot's transits get better, he'll get offers and be back on top. He just has to keep faith in himself, the same as Katherine..and if they learn a little Magi Astrology they'll even know when to put the pedal to the metal!

There's only room for one winner on American Idol...but the world is a big place and there's more than enough room for lots of winners...and being a winner is easier if you know WHEN..when to be in the game, when to push for that brass ring!
